As part of Dan Levy’s deal with Netflix, Netflix has revealed a title and main cast for its first new Netflix Original. Levy signed a deal with Netflix in September 2021 to “produce scripted content and other projects for its film and television libraries.”
Dan Levy, who will write, produce and direct Good Grief, rose to prominence with his role in Schitt’s Creek, which was licensed by Netflix and thrust into the air. Unfortunately, the series recently left Netflix US, but it will remain available on Netflix overseas for the foreseeable future. Here is the synopsis of the new Netflix comedy:
“Marc Dreyfus chose a pleasant marriage to distract himself from the loss of his mother.” When Marc’s husband suddenly dies, he is forced to confront the sadness he had worked so hard to escape, dragging him and his two best friends on a Parisian weekend of self-discovery.
