Marjorie A. Edwards Bidwell, 73, of Warren, Pennsylvania, died Monday, September 26, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born in Colver, Pennsylvania to the late Clyde and Rosella Nelen Edwards.

She has resided in the Warren area most of her life. She and her husband lived in Flemington, NJ, for 15 years, where she was employed as a nanny, caring for three young children, whom she loved, Rahim, Yasin and Shahin Damji. Marjorie was employed at Warren General Hospital’s Warren Dialysis Unit for 15 years, as a medical technician who retired in 2014.

She was a member of King David VFW 1132 of Kane, Pennsylvania, and the Warren American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. Marjorie is known for her great love for her family, especially enjoying her favorite vacation of having Thanksgiving dinners at her house.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Silvis (Willie) and her granddaughter, Emily Dehner (Jared) all of James City, Pa.; three stepchildren: Kim, Kevin and Amanda; two brothers: Randy Edwards of Warren, Pennsylvania, and Rick Edwards of Baltimore, Md.; one sister, Kathy Satterlee of Franklin, Pennsylvania; eight stepchildren; great-grandchildren in seven stages; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Tim Bidwell, whom she married on June 29, 1991, in Warren, Pennsylvania, and who died in August 2007; one son, Greg Hancox; one son-in-law, Master Sargent, Jared Timothy Bidwell; one sister, Linda Russell; and Marjorie’s companion, Vince.

Friends may call Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, from 4-6 p.m. and one hour before the funeral on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at noon, with Reverend Dr. Dale Haight officiating. Interment will be in Weiler Cemetery, Warren, Pennsylvania, where Marjorie will rest next to her husband.
