Filming for New Disney Movie Begins in Connecticut High School


Film producers love Connecticut! Bunnell High in Stratford becomes final filming location for new Walt Disney Studio movie titled Chang can soak.

According to, the studio will be shooting scenes on October 22 and 23 during the annual Bunnell High Cavalcade of Bands. Disney also intends to incorporate the high school marching band and sports facilities as part of the new film.

The new film will be the star Bloom li, who stars as a 16-year-old Asian American teenager who revere basketball and desperately wants to dunk. Li’s character Chang, who isn’t a very popular high school student, has a deep desire to beat the school’s basketball star, Matt – and hopefully earn the beauty’s adoration. Kristy.

“The district has had a number of meetings with representatives from Disney to coordinate all operational components which included representatives from the city, Director of Public Safety Larry Ciccarelli and District Head Nurse Kim Velazquez, who will be working with the Disney COVID team to ensure all security protocols are followed. Needless to say, everyone is very excited about this collaboration.

With the film currently in development, no release date has been announced.
