E-Home Household Services Holdings Limited Announces ‘Carbon Neutral’ and Green Initiative, Launching Specialist Waste Classification, Energy Saving and Emissions Reduction Services

FUZHOU, China, July 14 Feb. 1, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — E-Home Household Service Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: EJH) (the “Company” or “E-Home”), an integrated home service provider in China, today announced a new initiative “ Carbon Neutral” to provide specialized waste classification, energy saving and emission reduction services to households.

E-Home plans to launch waste classification services and integrate the concept of “reducing emissions” into standard door-to-door household cleaning and maintenance services, which involves the development of made-to-measure garbage bags (decomposable, non-composable, recyclable, non-recyclable, etc.) and by encouraging customers to use this dedicated service for sorting waste that respects the environment. The company also seeks to provide such waste sorting services to public service institutions and has signed a contract with a local property management company in Fujian for the sorting and dumping of household waste.

China is aiming for non-fossil energy consumption to exceed 80% of its total mix by 2060, when the world’s second-largest economy plans to be carbon neutral, according to guidelines released by the official Xinhua news agency. in October last year. The measures are part of China’s broader plan to peak carbon emissions and reach net zero by 2060. The report reiterated the government’s climate targets for 2025 and 2030 and pledged to accelerate decline in coal use in China.

Carbon neutrality is also not so far from our daily lives. Garbage collection could play a key role in reducing carbon emissions, but limited waste collection and poor segregation by households and at landfills make recycling work difficult. E-Home has established expertise and experience to provide this specialized garbage collection and dumping service to facilitate China’s carbon neutral goals. Additionally, China has listed “Carbon Emission Manager” as a new profession that involves monitoring, measuring and facilitating consultation on reducing carbon emissions and other greenhouse gases. E-Home is also riding on this trend and will combine an existing training program and human resources system with skills related to “carbon neutral” household services to promote the transformation of the company’s activity into a green profession. . The company plans to offer carbon emissions manager training, which is expected to help create new opportunities and jobs for the workforce and also diversify E-Home’s revenue streams.

Mr. Wenshan Xie, President and CEO of E-Home, said, “We are delighted to announce our carbon neutral project and believe that this new initiative will help create new jobs and increase our income from household formation, thereby increasing our profitability. In recent years, we humans are deeply aware that climate change is a security issue related to the survival and sustainable development of the entire ecosystem. To help facilitate China’s carbon neutral goals, E-Home will also seek to embrace green, low-carbon and circular development by transforming and improving our existing high-quality housekeeping and cleaning services.
