The biggest names on the big and small screen were celebrated at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Vanessa Hudgens led the proceedings as a moderator during the distribution of those coveted golden buckets of popcorn.
At the end of the film, Spider-Man: No Coming Home entered with the most nominations at seven, and the Marvel web-slinger ended up capturing “Best Picture.” Meanwhile, Euphoria dominated the categories on the TV side.
In addition to the fan-voted big winners, multifaceted entertainer Jennifer Lopez received the “Generation Award” and Jack Black won the “Comic Genius Award.” DJ Snoopadelic himself, Snoop Dogg, recorded some beats during the show. This year marked the 30th milestone ceremony, which expanded to include popular television in 2017.

The star left with the parting shot that “Maddy may have thrown the last punch but Cassie has never been happier.” Sweeney took the stage at the end accepting on behalf of Euphoria for “Best Show”.
A tribute to Elvis
“The King” got the spotlight thanks to Diplo & Swae Lee. They gave a catchy performance of “Tupelo Shuffle”, their single from Elvis movie soundtrack. The spirit and the musical influence were definitely felt.
Best Kiss Shocker
Poopies and The Snake won “Best Kiss”. Yes, you read that right. The fans chose Fooled forever couple on Tom Holland and Zendaya. Sean “Poopies” McInerney introduced his new adventure the anaconda, saying that he and The Snake had broken up. The viewers who voted have a unique sense of humor, but as they say, love is love. Zendaya won ‘Best Performance in a Show’. Holland was voted “Best Performance in a Motion Picture”.
stranger things cast members Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco and Joseph Quinn presented Sophia Di Martino with the golden bucket of popcorn for Disney+ Loki. The star who plays Sylvia was nine months pregnant when they offered her the job and her baby was three months old when filming began. She also accepted for “Best Team” on behalf of fellow actors Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson. They had a good reason to miss the show, to prepare for Loki season 2!

She joins Tom Cruise, Mike Myers, Chris Pratt and Sandra Bullock. The ageless beauty thanked the people who gave her this life. Elvis’ granddaughter, Riley Keough, premiered a clip from the upcoming biopic. MTV OGs gave us a taste of Beavis and Butthead make the universe. MTV Honors Unscripted
Bachelorette alum Tayshia Adams hosted the Unscripted while reality TV and talk shows have been getting some love. Highlights Included real housewife and mogul Bethenny Frankel received Paris Hilton’s “Reality Royalty” award. Fun fact: Frankel was Hilton’s nanny. “I was a late bloomer. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made a grand entrance to present “Best Realty Return” at Hilton. It’s hot.
