Baldwin and his wife Hilaria had been on the road before giving the impromptu press conference. The actor stopped in and agreed to speak to the photographers if he could have some space.

Baldwin and Hilaria were spotted having a drink at a bar in a small ski town on Friday night. Hilaria had wine while Baldwin had an alcohol-free IPA.

Earlier on Friday, Hilaria was seen driving Baldwin through the small town. At one point, she got out of the car to pump gas. The author and yoga teacher tried to shield her face from photographers as the couple tried to keep a low profile amid the ongoing investigation into the shooting that took place on the set of “Rust” by Baldwin.

Hilaria was later spotted without Baldwin as she stopped at a local Italian market to do groceries. The family nanny accompanied him.

Baldwin appears to have been in the New England area since Monday afternoon when he was seen at the same Italian market as the one where Hilaria was shopping on Friday.

He had previously been seen having breakfast Sunday morning with Hutchins husband and son at the La Posada Hotel in New Mexico.

Baldwin discharged a gun on the set of “Rust” in New Mexico on October 21, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. Deputy Director Dave Halls had told Baldwin that the gun was a “cold gun,” meaning “not hot” or unloaded, after gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez Reed placed the gun on a cart on the set.

Props master Sarah Zachry also handled the weapon before the fatal shooting, according to a search warrant executed by the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office.
