What good cinema.
October is in full swing and this week we were blessed with a slew of amazing trailers featuring cannibal campers, terrifying stalkers and Eva Green. With a few to enjoy, we’ve put together a roundup of our favorite trailers from this week! Check them out below.
Some like it rare
This is just the first trailer for a cannibal movie on this list, which is personally very exciting. In Some like it rare, Butchers Vincent and Sophie’s business collapses and their relationship crumbles. But their lives are forever turned upside down when Vincent accidentally kills a vegan activist who is vandalizing their store. To get rid of the corpse, he cuts the body’s throat and Sophie accidentally sells the meat. Never has their product been so successful with their customers to the point that they might be tempted to kill again…
Fabrice Eboué co-wrote, directed and acted in the film.
Some like it rare hits VOD October 14, 2022.
Run darling, run
Now for a slightly darker trailer. First worried when her boss insists she meet one of his most important clients, single mother Cherie (Ella Balinska) is relieved and excited when she meets the charismatic Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie off her feet. But at the end of the night, when the two are alone together, he reveals his true violent nature. Beaten and terrified, she flees for her life, beginning a relentless game of cat and mouse with a bloodthirsty assailant bent on her utter destruction. In this dark, edge-of-your-seat thriller, Cherie finds herself in the crosshairs of an alien conspiracy and more evil than she could ever have imagined.
Run darling, run arrives exclusively on Prime Video on October 28, 2022.
Vampires? Yes please! In Noah Segan’s new film, Francis, a 115-year-old Yiddish vampire, still looks 35. He’s been driving America’s roads in his muscle car for decades, staying alone and loving it that way. One day, a teenager, Jane, shows up. She says she’s his daughter, and she’s got the guts to prove it. They set off on the road, deciding whether or not to embark on family life.
blood relatives arrives at Shudder on November 22, 2022.
It’s time for more cannibalistic trailers, but this time much meaner. After the death of his wife, a broken man plunges into an abyss of nighttime tremors and depression and finds himself in the home of a deranged cannibal who convinces him to kill himself in the most gruesome way imaginable.
feed me arrives on digital and VOD on October 27, 2022.
I admit it: I have a crush on Eva Green. So I’m especially excited to see his next film fall into the genre space. In Noceboa fashion designer (Eva Green) suffers from a mysterious illness that baffles her doctors and frustrates her husband (Mark Strong) – until help comes in the form of a Filipino nanny (Chai Fonacier) who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrible truth.
Nocebo will be released in theaters on November 4, 2022, and on digital and VOD on November 22, 2022.
